1. The best way of replacement of spark plugs is preliminary purchase of new candles, adjustment of their gap and replacement of each candle in turn. Upon purchase of candles it is very important to choose those candles which are intended for the engine of your car. Information on them is provided in Specifications.
2. Having near at hand new candles, let's to the engine cool down completely before the beginning of removal of the old. During this time it is possible to examine new candles on existence in them of defects and to check candle gaps.

Do not concern the parts being under a high voltage. The persons having a warm stimulator, should not carry out any works with electronic system of ignition.

3. Remove ignition coils, address to the Section Removal and installation of coils of ignition.

4. Turn out spark plugs by means of a candle key (1). Thus watch that the key stood directly and it was not warped.

1. Compare the taken-out candle with shown in pictures in Head engine Electric equipment, it will give you useful information about the general condition of the engine.
2. Check shchupy interelectrode distance. Demanded value of a gap is given in Specifications.

At new candles the interelectrode distance is, as a rule, established correctly.

3. For distance installation between contacts turn in the corresponding electrode of weight. For this purpose knock sideways on it. At a podgibaniye обоприте a small screw-driver about carving edge. Do not lean at all on the central electrode as it can be damaged.
4. Put a little medsoderzhashchy anti-taking structure on a carving of a new candle. Establish a candle in a head of cylinders and screw it fingers against the stop, then tighten by means of a head of a candle key. If it is possible, use for a candle tightening a dinamometrichesky key to be sure that it is established correctly. The effort of a tightening of candles is included in Specifications.
Recommendations: In order to avoid possibility of a vvinchivaniye of a candle not on a carving put on its shaft a small piece of a rubber hose or a plastic tube. The flexible tube will work as universal - the kardanny hinge, providing candle alignment in relation to a candle nest and in case the candle starts to warp, the hose will slip on it, without giving possibility to strip a thread.
5. Before connection to a candle of high-voltage (VV) of a wire carefully examine it on damages, corrosion of internal contact and measure resistance. If it considerably exceeds 30 kiloohms/meters – replace all set of wires.
6. Connect a wire to the established new candle, again using a rotary motion and holding the socket while it will not be put on a candle up to the end.
7. Repeat the procedure described above for other spark plugs consistently to avoid the wrong connection of candle VV of wires.

2. Establish to the place of the ignition coil, address to the Section Removal and installation of coils of ignition.

If it becomes clear that the carving under a spark plug in a head of cylinders is damaged, it is necessary for repairing. For this purpose there is the corresponding tool and a repair kit, for example, BERU firms. The damaged carving is drilled by a special drill. For this purpose it is not obligatory to remove a head of cylinders. Then in a head the new carving and a candle is cut rolled in a special transitional carving insert. In addition established carving inserts of candles sit strongly and provide tightness.

1. Disconnect a cover from an engine end face.
2. Remove the top part of the case of the air filter (only at engines with the air filter located sideways of the car).
3. Remove a measuring instrument of weight of air with a soaking-up branch pipe (only at engines with the air filter located sideways of the car).
4. Uncover the engine or the air filter, address to the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
5. Disconnect coils of ignition (1).
6. Disunite the spark plug tip by means of a double wrench from spark plugs over a cover of a head of cylinders.
7. Turn out spark plugs.

1. Screw candles by hand against the stop in a head of cylinders and then tighten the moment 28Нм.

Each cylinder has on two candles. Not to mix tips, it is necessary to mark them just as a cover on the engine (2).

2. Connect tips to candles.
3. Establish coils of ignition and fix the moment 8Нм.
4. Establish a cover of the engine or the air filter, address to the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
5. Establish a measuring instrument of weight of air with a branch pipe (only at engines with the air filter located sideways of the car).
6. Establish the top part of the case of the air filter (only at engines with the air filter located sideways of the car).
7. Fix a cover from an engine end face.
