Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation VMT

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Uncover heads of cylinders, address to the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders.

2. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation VMT. For this purpose switch a transmission in the provision of a neutral course and turn a cranked shaft a face key for the central bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft in the direction of rotation of the engine, i.e. clockwise. Rotate a cranked shaft while a label "FROM" on a pulley and the index will not coincide.

Do not rotate the engine crankshaft in the opposite direction. Do not rotate the engine crankshaft for a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft.

3. In this situation the drift (1) (a lock pin) should be entered through the first cover of bearings of a camshaft into an opening in an asterisk (2) camshafts of inlet valves. Otherwise turn a cranked shaft on a complete revolution and again insert a drift.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take out a lock pin.
2. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders, address to appropriate section.
