The established temperature is reached in a heating mode with the greatest possible speed and supported by a constant. The temperature can be established for each party separately.
Change the established temperature only small steps.

When using function «A mode of use of residual heat of the engine» heating of salon of the car can be made also at the switched-off engine.
As a basic provision for regulation of temperature of salon it is recommended establish temperature regulators on 22°С.
General comments on the automated system of heating

For decrease in temperature in space under a ceiling an adjusting castor of a primeshivaniye of cold air open at will.

Defrosting of glasses
Press the button. On the button the control light-emitting diode lights up.

At high temperatures of external air there is an automatic switching on an air circulation mode. Approximately in 30 minutes the podmeshivaniye of external air begins.

The filter essentially reduces concentration of harmful substances and considerably detains smells.
Automatic switching on a mode of air circulation is made, if in external air concentration of an oxide of carbon (WITH) or nitrogen (NOH) oxides raised.
The mode of automatic air circulation is impossible, if the economic mode or temperature of external air is chosen is lower 5°С.

Compartment with air conditioning on the average console under an armrest
(models with the automated conditioner of air)
In a compartment there is a ventilating deflector.
Opening: the handle (1) shift up.
Closing: the handle (1) shift down.
Supply of air depends:
· from the established distribution of air,
· from the established giving of air,
· from the provision of opening of ventilating deflectors on the dashboard.
Air temperature approximately corresponds to the air temperature, leaving of average deflectors. It cannot be established separately.

In a compartment there can be extremely high temperatures caused by limited space. Therefore at transportation of heatsensitive cargo it is necessary to close the ventilating deflector of the included heating.
The ventilating deflector in a compartment do not close subjects. |
Independent heater
The independent heater makes heating or ventilation of salon of the car depending on the air of value established on the automatic conditioner and air temperatures in salon.
The device of remote control can caused all functions of an independent heater. It is possible to include an independent heater at once (immediate heating) or to program so that it automatically joined in demanded time (program heating).
By the switch on the average console the independent heater can join and be switched off and be dumped activated time of inclusion.
The independent heater joins
only at temperature of cooling liquid is lower 70°С.

At the corresponding temperature and weather conditions can happen that the system, for example, at first makes ventilation, and then — heating. It provides possibility of achievement of the demanded temperature with the greatest possible speed.
For achievement of the maximum radius of operation of the device of remote control the aerial during transfer is recommended to be put forward completely, and the device of remote control hold vertically. Transfer is made until on the display indication blinks. |
The maximum radius of operation of the device of remote control makes 1000 m. From the closed rooms or owing to massive obstacles the radius of action can be limited.
Operating time of an independent heater established at manufacturer makes 50 minutes. However it can be established and individually. The reference any Mercedes-Benz station on this matter will give.
The device of remote control can be stored by an independent heater in a ware compartment, in front of the selector lever, in the holder.
The car is equipped with the device of remote control. For each car one additional device of remote control of the same execution is provided. The reference any Mercedes-Benz station on this matter will give.
The switch of an independent heater is on the average console.
Left – red - the light-emitting diode displays the included condition of a heater.
The right – yellow - displays a condition of activization of a choice of time of inclusion of a heater

Establish the demanded temperature for salon (see above in this Section). The recommended temperature at the left and on the right - 22°С.

Inclusion of an independent heater by means of the switch
Press the switch a symbol. The red control light-emitting diode lights up.
Inclusion of an independent heater by the device of remote control
The ON button on the device of remote control press until the green control light-emitting diode on the device of remote control will light up. On models with the automated conditioner of air with comfortable management the display on the control panel is activated.
At inclusion of an independent heater the red control light-emitting diode on the switch on the average console lights up.
Switching off
The independent heater can be switched off by the device of remote control or the switch on the average console.
Switching off by means of the switch:
The switch on the average console press a symbol. The red control light-emitting diode dies away.
Switching off by the device of remote control:
The OFF button on the device of remote control press until the red control light-emitting diode will light up. The red control light-emitting diode on the switch on the average console also dies away.
Activation of function of preset
By means of the universal display of an independent heater three values of time of the inclusion can be set, one of them can be activated respectively as inclusion time.
At the activated function of preset the yellow light-emitting diode on the switch burns. At the activated independent heater the yellow light-emitting diode on the switch dies away, and the red light-emitting diode on the switch burns.
