Power shafts of wheels General information Power shafts of back wheelsRemoval and CV JOINT installation and protective covers of power shafts The car is actuated by means of torque transfer from a transmission to wheels by means of two power shafts. Boots of internal hinges are made of rubber, and external — from thermoplastic (thermoplastic is steadier against external influences). Each shaft consists of three main parts: internal hinge (tripod type), directly shaft and external hinge of equal angular speeds (CV JOINT). The internal hinge of a shaft is fixed by means of a lock ring. External hinges of both shaft (CV JOINTS) terminate in shlitsevy shaft which enter in a shlitsa of naves of driving wheels. Shaft are fixed in naves by nuts. |
